The Okapi Journal is a place for a different kind of travel story.
Not a ranking of destinations. Not a collection of quick recommendations. Not a search for the next place everyone needs to see.
Instead, it is a series of reflections on places, ideas, and the kind of attention required to truly experience them.
We believe some places cannot be understood in a few photographs or a short description. They reveal themselves through time, through small details, and through the way they make us slow down.
Why a journal?
The map at the core of Okapi Compass is a tool.
